Specific Program Goals & Accomplishments
ACCOMPLISHMENTS JANUARY - DECEMBER 2006
- Added 3 more classrooms, an outside entrance/exit with electric door and sink in the program area.
- Added a sensory "destimulation" room and developed protocols for effective and appropriate use.
- Initiated the College of Direct Support web-based training lessons.
- Added a transportation route for consumer access and hired a driver to assist with transportation and CI activities.
- Surveyed stakeholders to determine class preferences.
- Obtained grant to purchase individual lockers.
- Obtained State approval to add a paid pre-vocational class to the TLC program.
- Toured and provided updated information to all Regional Center Service Coordinators.
GOALS FOR JANUARY - DECEMBER 2007
- Increase Satisfaction Survey response to 40%.
- Implement internal quality assurance with emphasis on Personal Plan content and process.
- Obtain equipment for sensory room.
- Fully implement College for Direct Support (CDS) as part of new staff orientation.
- Increase time in Community Integration classes to 25%.
- Expand staff to include an additional Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP).
- Decrease staff turnover to 30% or less.
