October 11th marked a great
first year of participation for DCO at the Annual Springfield Chamber
of Commerce Business Exposition held at the University Plaza Trade Center.
In addition to providing general information about DCO and signing up
new volunteers for future projects, the DCO booth was busy all day with
people receiving massages. Many thanks to the generosity
|
of Brad Weaver and
UMB Bank for underwriting the Professional Massage Training Center and
to Kellie Herman and Linda Mayhugh for massaging away various aches
for six straight hours. This combined effort helped DCO raise $340!
We hope to see you next year at the Business Expo.
