Employment Services Provided
Employment Assessment is the time spent determining
the interests, abilities and needs of the participant. A trained evaluator works closely with the participant to learn as much as possible about current skills, employment needs and job preferences.
Job Development begins after the assessment is completed. We look for a job that matches the participant based on what was learned during the assessment. When we find a job opportunity that matches, we help the person apply and take him or her to interviews. If the job is offered and accepted, we will help complete paper work and assist in arranging transportation.
Job Coaching begins when the participant starts his or her new job. An Employment specialist coaches the participant on the job to meet the employers' standards by providing step by step instruction and assisting with the job duties if needed.
