Specific Program Goals & Accomplishments
ACCOMPLISHMENTS JANUARY - DECEMBER 2006
- Participated in local efforts to increase community transportation.
- Completed VR monitoring.
- Completed time studies using improved formulas.
- Added a work crew (shredding) in Greene County.
- Participated in a Summer Youth Program at Skaggs.
- Added a Becker Work Adjustment Profile to evaluation process.
- Finalized plans/bids for new Taney County facility, including the addition of a TLC and Therapy Program.
GOALS FOR JANUARY - DECEMBER 2007
- Expand job opportunities for individuals with more challenging job placement needs.
- Obtain training materials/software to assist with interview, interpersonal and social skills.
- Continue efforts to increase availability of community transportation.
- Expand enrollment in both Greene & Taney Counties through increased marketing efforts.
- Explore other VR services, including National Supports.
- Provide information to local schools regarding Transitional
- Vocational Assessments and Summer Youth Services.
- Increase training and Employment Certificates as Programs increase.
