Program Philosophy
Program Description
It is the philosophy of the ECCE Program to provide an educational and learning environment which stimulates growth and development for all children utilizing a team approach. Our objectives are based on helping each child develop to his/her fullest potential in all areas of development through individualized and group activities in a stimulating, inclusive environment.
It is our aim to assist parents/guardians in becoming aware of the child's needs and assist them whenever possible. Classroom teachers develop strategies and programming which will be of benefit to all children.
This philosophy is based on the following:
- All children grow and develop at an individual rate.
- The family is the focal point of the child's life.
- Children are more alike than different whether they have a developmental delay or not.
- Cooperation and team teaching will provide the most stimulating learning environment.
