Specific Program Goals & Accomplishments
ACCOMPLISHMENTS JANUARY - DECEMBER 2006
- Redesigned the entryway of the Family Center, including the open bricked area outside the Coordinator's office.
- Expanded the database to track Individual Classroom Plans (ICP) as well as a "tickler" of items that are due.
- Installed dispensers with hand sanitizer and shelves for Kleenex, papers, etc. on both playgrounds.
- Expanded "continuity of care" model to six (6) Classrooms.
- Purchased and installed large playground equipment and sandbox cover.
- Added a computer allowing all Teachers access to the Internet as well as DCO's network.
- Completed a community comparison of child care rates and services.
- All Teachers continue to hold CDA/degrees or are actively working toward completion.
GOALS FOR JANUARY - DECEMBER 2007
- Decrease staff turnover to less than 30%.
- Develop plans for potential redesign of the Activity Room.
- Increase number of staff who are qualified to provide inservice/training to other staff.
- Develop a mentoring plan for new staff.
- Increase family satisfaction survey responses by 50%.
- Cover Infant/Toddler outside play area.
- Identify space for play during inclement weather.
- Complete interior re-design projects inside the building.
