Program Philosophy
The philosophy of our Adult Day Center Program is to provide a 
safe and stimulating environment, which will enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities and older citizens by providing a licensed community day care center. This Program is designed to assist individuals to retain, increase and develop as fully possible the necessary skills and interests related to the aging process.
This philosophy is based on the following:
- All individuals have the right to an individualized program based on their preferences and needs.
- The Program environment will be one that promotes skills retention and increased independence through adaptive and assistive technology.
- Program activities will be designed to increase communications skills, social interactions as well as leisure skills and interests.
- The Program is designed to add more quality and joy to the participants’ lives in a meaningful and positive environment.
